Hansel & Gretel Yarn Club

As promised, details of Forbidden Woolery’s first yarn club!

This club will run for three months – June, July, and August. Each month will feature a different base in the weight of your choice (fingering or lace) in a new colorway inspired by the tale of Hansel & Gretel.  The yarn colors will be exclusive to Club members for six (6) months, however Club members are free to do what they like with their yarn.

There will be two listings in the Etsy shop – one for fingering weight, and one for laceweight.  All fingering weight skeins will include approximately 435 yards. All laceweight skeins will include approximately 875 yards.  Shipping is included in the price – $75 for each weight of yarn.  Please, no discount codes on yarn club purchases.

The yarn will ship the first Monday of every month by USPS with delivery confirmation.

If you’d like multiple skeins each month send me a convo and I will put up a Custom Yarn Club listing just for you.  I will dye a couple extra skeins each month for yarn club members.  If, after receiving your yarn club colorway, you would like to purchase additional skeins in that colorway for a particular project, convo me and I will make a custom listing for you.  Any leftover skeins will be listed for sale after the six (6) month exclusivity time period is up.

Fingering weight bases may include any of the following:

Greed – a crisp 4-ply superwash Blue-Faced Leicester (BFL) yarn.
Lush – A soft, luxurious merino/cashmere/nylon yarn.
Footloose - A soft, strong merino/nylon yarn
Pride – a sparkly 2-ply merino/nylon/stellina yarn.

Laceweight bases may include any of the following:

Wisp – A springy merino yarn
Envy – A delectable merino/silk yarn
Pride Lace – A sparkly merino/silk/stellina yarn.
Indulge Lace – An enticing superwash merino yarn.

Listings will go up in the Etsy shop tomorrow, Saturday, April 21st and be available until Saturday, May 12th.  There will be ten (10) spots in each weight.
